So good so good

i've watched so you think you can dance for 5 seasons now. (ok, i admit i skipped 3). And it's so good so gooood, so so goooood...

i know nuts about dance, but this reality show just makes me feel dance is such a beautiful art expression. (why the hack did this show not come out earlier? it might have changed me!)

i love the way the show pushes the competitors.
i love the judges, the intent, the critics.
i love the personalities.
i love how the show features the beauty of each style of dance.
i love the uniqueness and how everybody is just so different in one way or another.
i love the passion from everybody single person in the show.
i love the humour.
i just love it.

i think i just ultimately love the intent and the objective of the show. To make dancers dance even better. To force them to look within, to see who they really are, and push them to see what they can become.

The show feels genuine. i see and feel the heart from it. i guess that's what draws me to the show season after season, tears after tears. Kudos.

Finding our nest

It's been exactly 8 days since we started our nest search. And as usual, being us, it's as detailed as we want it to be.

This 8 days have been intensive and a steep learning curve in studying the market, understanding the way hdb market works. It also is a discovery in the way darling and me thinks and deal with major decisions as a couple. (appreciate my darling in the way we do things together to date :))

A house is a major decision in our life. To me, not only is a place where we rest our feet, but a place where we think and rejuvenate. It is also a place where we invite our friends and family to chill out and hang around. We will be chilling for long, so, it better be what we want!

Well, finding a house is almost like finding a life partner. TOUGH. i guess the reason is also coz both of us have a pretty good idea what we are looking for and we can't settle for less. If you are lucky, it's fast, if not, it takes some time and there are also missed chances. Timing is key, and budget is key. It's important to have a checklist and when all is rational, look within to see if you have a feel for it. if you like it, u just like it. simple as that.

i hope to find this dream nest to begin our next journey together soon :) Wish us luck in the search!

For now, i'm exhausted. Hope i don't get burnt out and that i dun faint blading at safra tomorrow!

what a day... As the chatter gets to a silence, I'm here lying in my bed, unable to zzz again. The last 2wks of intermittent insomnia was coz there were still many unchecked marks on my agenda list. Now, it's just the overwhelming love I feel from our treasured friends and family.
Happiness is not a given. That 's y I'm so grateful and is something I'll work at. At this point, I feel rich, not coz my bank account is filled, but cause my love bank is just bursting from its seams.

Tomorrow

As the significant day draws closer, or rather it's just tomorrow!, i feel this wave of emotions all within me.. u name it, i have it.

i guess the most significant emotion is a joy from the love of my friends and family and of course my favourite man.
