Pirates

Been ages since i blogged on movies though i did catch superman. Had to comment on this coz i really think itz a good film. Firstly, effects were simply dazzling. The detailings of the costumes of the pirate-ghouls were simply superb. Hammerhead shark, puffer fish, crab, octopus (blue ring octopus?), stingray. Couldn't help noticing coz of my renewed interest in the underwater.

And what can go very wrong with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom being the main actors? Nothing! Johnny Depp, in his usual sly, yet amusing character (really can't imagine anybody pulling it off) was juz at his best. Orlando bloom had more to play this episode and was his usual suave and legolas mode. Keira Knightley? Gorgeous lady yet could dorn on pants and use swords and guns. What more can you ask for?

Anyhow, the show was fun, lighthearted, entertaining. A must watch.
