Day 14 - Paris, France [31/10/06]

Basilique du Sacre Coeur, a beautiful church. Aren't all churches in europe beautiful? Corrine identified this from top of Arc of Triumph. It looked really interesting from a distance. We just had to go.
The basilica is located at the summit, the highest point in the city. The overall style of the structure shows heavy Romano-Byzantine influence. Several days of basilique visiting since our trip to Europe... But this is the place i heard the one of the most beautiful church choir... Besides St Peter's which was grandeur, the church choir here was angelic. Trust me, i was touched.

View from the basilique. Very scenic and over sees the whole Paris. Peace.
Baskers in Europe are really good. Was enjoying him doing his piece...

This guy too...

Strolling down :)

Arc du Triumph (Arc de Triomphe).
Us trotting down Champs-Élysées, a fashion avenue and also one of the most famous streets in the world.

The most acclaimed Louis Vuitton boutique.

Our favourite dinner place in Paris. Near our hotel, Mr Bed. Cheap with good food and friendly waiters. About 6 euros each.

Supermarket time! We were just amazed by the array of wines they carried. Super cheap. 1.5 euros and you can get a bottle of red wine. How shiok is that?
That night, we drank. the rest is for us to know :p
