Movies Galore

Been catching quite alot of movies to date... Somehow or rather :p Decided to do a rating in my own blog since i watch quite alot of movies. Enjoy and feel free to critic as well!


Confessions of Pain
Watched this last night after our humongous crabby meal. After dropping the other 2 pilots who crashed into a tree, the 2 exhausted pilots went to watch the show.
Takashi Kaneshiro. The best alwiz :p in terms of facial features... He's just good looking along side with Tony Leong, how not to go watch the show? Pretty heavy show where the main goes on a journey to uncover the mystery of a homicide. Anyhow, the 4 main casts were really eye candy but i guess not thrilling enough as we already know the murderer from the start but show just angled as to how the detective uncovered it. It would have been more interesting if there were twists and turns in the show. Anyhow, i would still rate it a 6.5/10. Pass coz of casts :p

Death Note Movie 1&2
Watched Movie 1 on my way to cameron. Watched 2 on the big screen. Kinda regretted watching it coz i think i would have enjoyed the anime more. But then again, since itz up, muz go watch. Story line of coz itz great coz death note rox. Casts wise. L was a fantastic potrayal. Well done. Chief Yagami was very poise too. The lady casts like Misa and 3rd Kira were cute and sexy respectively. Yatari and the death gods were also good. If you noticed, i haven't spoken about Yagami Light. REason? He sucks.
My interpretation of Yagami Light in the anime is suave, cool, very intelligent and has a very definite reason why he chose this path. This potrayal was a far cry. Neither suave nor cool and i din really see the reason why he chose to kill. The reason was not shouting loud enough to me. Yucks. Very disappointing that the main lead ended up like that :S
If i hadn't watched death note anime, i would give it a 8/10.
But i watched the anime, i give it a 6/10. Redeemed by L who made me laugh and for the fact that i was interwined into the show. When a show gathers my full attention, it deserves credit.

Charlotte's Web

The pig was definitely cute. Charlotte was nicely potrayed. But from my recollection of what i read when i was younger, the story had more teachings. Maybe itz coz i'm older now. Anyway, i rate it a 6/10.

Curse of the Golden Flower
Plot sucks. Jay chou was surprisingly better than expected. Gong Li was very good. Zhou Runfa of coz too. Cinematography was good too. I give it a 5/10.

Night at the Museum
Alamak. 4/10. Quite funny at some parts, though i like Ben Stiller. but well, not enough for me.
