Actually a very simple plot. No big hooha, not so much of animations. But msg was driven across. For that, i rate the show as highly recommended.
Adam Sandler and Kate Beckinsale (pretty and a great wife in the show)
Click, story goes that Michael Newman (Adam Sandler), is in his mid-life crisis and found a universal remote control that can zip thru his life through all the boring parts. How wonderful, to be able to auto-pilot and not go thru the borin parts in life... So, he zips through to life to get what he wants, CEO of the company. While he auto-pilots on the other aspects of his life being the workaholic he was... Wonderful. Shan't leak too much of the story. But moral of the story was the importance of the family. I think it was pretty tear jerking and had quite alot of people grabbing for tissues or juz using their hands to wipe off whatever that was falling down...
Well well, aren't we all guilty of the above. Treating our loved ones like the invisible. Taking everything for granted, just coz they are already family. And thinking that working hard is the only way to show we love our family (though guys are more guilty of this, not all of course). We auto-pilot and zip through our lives without paying heed that the small things are just as important. The parts where we nurture the family, care about the family, spend time with our family.
Michael Newman was lucky, he learnt his lessons. But how many learn our lessons before we really regret it? something to think about... happiness to us all, cheers ;)
