西藏之旅

This is going to be my most efficient upload. Learnt from the Europe blogging that i'll never finish. So, using ying's extraordinary efficient method, will juz spend a few mins to settle this. Unfortunately, am down ill today. In my grogginess before i head to bed, Pls find photos below, otherwise, click on the album as seen below. Will be updating this link again soon as the below pics are all from my end. There were some days that my battery died which i relied on Peiyan's and peizhen's camera. They also have some great pics!

Tibet 2007

Ｂｅｆｏｒｅ　i left for Tibet, as usual, i had no time for research. Hence, armed with impressions from friend's photos, i headed to Tibet, the land of Lamas.

从川藏南线　（３１８线）出发，奔向西藏。。。

Day 1 - 3
成都 - 四姑娘山- 日隆镇 - 小金- 甲居- 丹巴 - 新都桥
Passed by many scenic places today. While my 师傅keeps commenting that the scenery is only “一般”. The 3 of us were enthralled with the scenery though also fighting AMS through sleeping :) We stayed at 新都桥 where we met my favourite couple of the whole trip.

Day 4 - 6
新都桥- 理塘- 二道班- 芒康- 左贡- 然乌
理塘 is the highest town in our whole trip at about 4800米. There's also a beautiful temple above. This was where i felt AMS at its peak. Headache and all, i was still amazed at the beauty of the place. 然乌湖真的很漂亮。It could have been better exept that the rain caused the lake to be slightly more murky than it should.


Day 7 - 8
米堆冰川- 波密 - 古乡
We trekked to a 冰川 today. Trust me, it was not easy. With the altitude, you get breathless easily and the ground was most of the time slippery with ice under soil However, the destination point made it all worthwhile. Got a nice shot of 青稞 which is my fav shot of the whole trip

Day 9
古乡- 八一
At 古乡, got to meet a group of travellers who have become our friends. It gave the whole trip another angle. learnt a new game - 斗地主！ fun! Sidenote: It'll be nice if i can wake up every morning to see the scenery of mountains and snow. Just for a few months, think it'll be nice enough :)
