Lately, not much to watch. But anyhow, caught 3 shows to date

1) Lust & Caution
Ang Lee is always known to do very controversial shows eg. Brokeback Mountain. And i would say lust and caution also proves to be so as he has proven to be really couragous to direct such a liberal show among Chinese films. And to have gotten tony leong as well.
I must still say kudos to him for having this knack for putting new faces on screen i bet this lady will be getting more jobs. Anyhow, sad for wong li hom for playing such a role. i think his fans won't be too pleased.. haha Anyhow, the plot din work that well for me. My rating? 2/10

2) StarDust

Starring angelic claire danes, Michelle pfieffer, Robert De Niro, Charlie Cox. i really liked this one. Plot was nicely written with great casts. It has all the bits that a fantasy show should have. Whimsical, Magical with bits of fantasy and great casts. Best part is there is still witticisms and was entertaining.

My rating? 9/10

3) Enchanted

Just came home from this one. watched the trailer in one of the above shows and we thought it'd be quite farnie to watch. I went for it with just some light expectations. Because there are many cases that the trailers are good. And only the bits in the trailer. However, i'm glad to say i'm pleasantly entertained. Starring Amy Adams, James Marden and Patrick Dempsey.

The show started really walt disney. With the usual cartoons and the singing and the princess met the prince and they were going to marry and live happily ever after. Who doesn't know the ending? But well, the show managed to add some realism to the whole fairy tale story. Amy adams was a delight to watch. James Marden was himboly prince. Patrick Dempsey was really charming (i'm sure jean loy won't disagree wif me. rite ger? :p) Anyhow, good show to catch. My rating? 8.5 /10
