Shapely Run 2007

I did it! Completed my 10Km in my first ladies run. Haven't ran or exercised much since my preparations for Tibet about 2 months ago. The 5km i did at Fitness First also sent some vibes within me. I'm not at my peak :p Anyhow, after lots of psychoing myself along the way. At 2km, i told myself i was at 1km blah blah and a personal motivator within me, i completed the run. Hopefully more shapely and less muscle ache when tomorrow comes!!

Though it was a girl's run, i still see loads of guys.. hahaa. Those cheering their girlfriends on and a guy trying to be farnie. He was with a girl friend and in his dress and stockings, cheering the ladies on. Very motivating indeed. :p i was very much entertained along the way when i saw some girls trying to look good in front of the cameras and others staying by the roadside chit chatting while waiting for their friends to reach them. Of course there were serious runners too. i think i remembered seeing the winner of the 10km run pass me at 3km. :p i started late k! Anyway, nice route, the organizers were good too. The goodie bag is worth the run too. To the next Great EAstern Run!
