Inaugarated. Freedom at last?

"i have a dream" speech by Dr Martin King

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride,
From every mountainside, let freedom ring!
And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.

Can find the rest of the speech here.

Other than our dear obama's speech, there were some interesting bits to the inauguration
Very out of the norm benediction from Reverend Joseph Lowery:

"We ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get in back, when brown can stick around. When yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white will embrace what is right. That all those who do justice and love mercy say Amen." From Reverend Joseph Lowery's Inaugural Benediction January 2009

Obama is the epitome of America's change of a new generation. His speech was realistic with sincerity and truth. He's asking people to believe, he's asking for sides. He speaks fundamentals with so much resolute and belief it makes you just want to believe. i really hope he delivers, don't let the world lose hope obama!
