Standard Chartered 21km

My first 21km! Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon is touted as one of the most important runs in Singapore for the whole year and i can see why so. There were throngs of runners. 31000 this yr, and they are all running... i guess the runspirators or watever they call them do help. It helps to have pple cheering you on, to have people to watch, to see determined runners running for their lives.

Still remembered my thoughts when i was doing one of the tortorous 10km sometime back in July 2006 to be exact. Thinking that running is like life. Some people run beside you, while others in front and behind you, some wait for you at the end with a smile on their faces and some a pat on your back and some cheer you on. It's not everyday that someone stays by you.

Thanks darling, for staying by my side during the preparation and also the entire journey this race. :)
