obama rocks the world

i wanted to post my 200th post nicely. Coz i remembered my 100th one was at Nice, France. This post, is so timely cause i can't think of a better time to post my respect the the new man in power.

i guess this is the work of his campaign people who has targetted web so well. obama web, facebook and now flickr!

After months and months of campaigning, the winner emerges. The whole campaign has been very interesting to me and its development was more entertaining than ever. Initially, i wasn't sure whose side i would take, however, about 1 month before the elections, i was won over by this man. He holds his arguments well, speaks well, is humble, seems to earns the respect around him, and last but not least, loves his family.

To me, a great leader need not be the man that knows it all. A great leader knows how to find the right people to back him up, the people that can overshadow his weaknesses and enforce his strengths. Knows how to inspire when the time requires. Leads by example. Confident. Determined. Has compassion for his subordinates. To date, this man appears to have it all, and needless to say. I'M A FAN.

His acceptance speech was even more inspiring and touching (especially during such global turmoils). He speaks with conviction, with humility and with appreciation. i know it has sent many teary eyed. For me, i had my hairs standing watching him.

Though he has not proved results, i'm certainly looking forward that he'll be able to deliver what he's promised. It's tough not to be sceptical when a man promises that much. However, for now, i'm rooting for him and rooting for his safety. Go obama!
