Sorethroat is gone!
There's something i must blog today - my sorethroat is gone! it has amazingly disappeared after 17days of shadow tailing me. How glad i am it decided to move off. How glad i am. Never had a throat ached that lasted more than 3 days. It really is stubborn this round. So terrible.
Another thing i wanted to write about was Ratatoulie. I watched the show. Think coz of the reviews, you already kinda expect it to be good. So, sometimes, itz good to not have any expectations when you want to do something. It surprises you more and leaves a lasting impression.
Anyhow, back to the show, i liked the style of the cartoon. Itz like my favourite comics - Calvin and Hobbes. Using children forms to speak in an adult manner. The rat was also very small, very young and totally unchef like. You simply won't even bat an eyelid to disagree. However, his, the determination, talent and the dreams he has strikes you to the core.
Humans are guilty of stereo-typing. We always think that only certain people can do certain things. How can a rat cook? How can anybody just do anything? This show illustrates that anything is possible as long as we want to and set our hearts to it. believe, and it will come. And the words uttered by the critic at the end of the show teaches humility. Very well-written and nicely thought out.
i need some constant reminder as well.
